According to the statement, Dabo arrives with a deep and multifaceted professional background spanning human rights, crisis recovery, peacebuilding and conflict prevention, humanitarian affairs, and development — credentials that position her as a formidable force in the role.
Most recently, she served as Director and Deputy Head of the UN Peacebuilding and Peace Support Office. Prior to that, Dabo held senior leadership positions within the UN Development Programme (UNDP), including as Country Director in Tanzania.
